The Football Leadership Diversity Code will help clubs to better represent our modern and diverse society across the National League system, Women’s pyramid and grassroots football by seeking to tackle inequality and improve representation of historically underrepresented groups across senior leadership positions, wider team operations and coaching roles.

FA SAFEGUARDING CHILDREN POLICY (YOUTH TEAMS)

As an England Football Accredited Club, Tockwith Juniors Football Club acknowledges our responsibility to safeguard the welfare of every child and young person and are committed to providing a safe environment for all. We recognise that a child is anyone under the age of 18 and subscribe to The Football Association’s (The FA) Safeguarding Children Policy and Procedures.

This course is for everyone. It provides a basic overview of how to safeguard children and examines what we mean by:

SAFEGUARDING CHILDREN RECERTIFICATION

Our online Safeguarding Children Recertification is available for free for anyone who has previously completed The FA Safeguarding Children Workshop or online Recertification, and your qualification is due to expire in the next six months, or it has already expired.

INTRODUCTION TO FIRST AID

Introduction to First Aid in Football is an online course suitable for anyone looking to develop their knowledge and understanding of medical care for players of all ages.
Medical emergencies in football can strike at any time. From common injuries to life-threatening situations such as sudden cardiac arrest, understanding basic first aid can help save lives. The FA is pleased to offer this football first aid course for you to complete at your own pace.

FA CONCUSSION GUIDELINES

This course will help you learn how to recognise and manage a concussion – from the time of injury through to a player's safe return to football.

FA SUDDEN CARDIAC ARREST

Unfortunately, a sudden cardiac arrest (SCA) can happen to anyone. 
This learning is designed to help you to recognise an SCA and respond appropriately.
From next year, the module will become a compulsory element of The FA’s ‘Introduction to First Aid in Football’.

FA SAFEGUARDING FOR COMITTEE MEMBERS

This course will support you, as a committee member, to identify your individual and collective responsibility in safeguarding, so as a team you create an environment where the wellbeing of children and young people (under 18s) is central to all that you do.
