CREATING A FAN NUMBER
Players and parents/guardians can create their own FAN numbers to aid our club officials when registering players on Whole Game System.
Once a parent FAN account has been created you can add a child record creating their own FAN number.
To access the form, head over to www.TheFA.com/account/signup
On completion of the form, the individual will have access to their FAN account and a FAN number generated. This can be shared with club officials to allow player/helper registration on to our club and league systems.
If you are having any issues, please contact the club secretary or welfare officer with yours and your child's full names, FAN numbers and date of births.
VOLUNTEERING
All of the coaches at TJFC are parents volunteering their time to train and develop the children. To enable them to do this effectively they require help and support from parent volunteers. The running of the club relies on parents with different skills stepping forward to help out.
Every little helps in a big way!
Whether it's helping set up equipment, cooking the bacon butties, prepping drinks, producing the TJFC Newsletter, or ferrying players to matches. These are all jobs that need to be done in order to ensure that your child gets the opportunity to kick a ball.
If you're interested, please get in touch.
COMPLETING THE CLUB APPLICATION AND DBS INITIATION
Firstly, you will need to complete an application form, you can access the application form here, or request one either via email or paper copy from the welfare/assistant welfare officers or the respective coach. Once this has been completed please return it via email or to the name/address at the bottom of the form.
The welfare or assistant welfare officer will add you to the Whole Game System to initiate your DBS application.
You will need to login to WGS, using your email and password (your FA email and password). Upon login, navigate to your My DBS Tab down the left side of the screen.
Once loaded, you will have Clubs listed who have added you as a DBS Applicant.
If you are a member of more than one Club, you can select which one, it will be the Welfare Officer of this Club who will need to verify your documents. If you only have one Club, click the green select button, which will initiate the auto email from First Advantage, which you will then need to follow to complete your DBS.
You may need to check your junk/spam mail, as these auto emails do sometimes find their way here, rather than your inbox.
Upon receipt of the email, follow the guidance from First Advantage, to complete your application for your DBS, at which point you will need to contact your Club Welfare Officer, to verify your documents.
