Why is this important?
The AGM is your opportunity, as members, to hear how your club is run and to decide on the roles of the people who manage it on your behalf. Remember, the committee and its components are not closed to the general membership. Coaches and managers take part because they are close to the mechanics of the clubs operation - simply because they do the football bit. There is no reason why they should call the shots otherwise. In fact, it might be preferable for the officers of the club to be non-coaching members?
