County award for Tockwith player

DANNY BENTLEY - YOUNG VOLUNTEER OF THE YEAR

Seven local grassroots champions from across North Riding have been named as this year’s winners of The North Riding Community Awards, presented by McDonald’s.

The FA Young Volunteer of the Year Award went to Danny Bentley of Tockwith Junior Football Club

Danny, pictured here receiving his award recently at North Riding County FA HQ at Stokesley from Chairman Len Scott, has also been shortlisted for a regional award.

​TJFC chairman, Rob Edwards, commented, "It's great that we are blessed with guys like Danny, a real asset to the club.  And, it's so important that they are recognised like this for their selfless efforts."
